What's the preferred width of Ford rearends in Chevy I-Stocks. I have my 60 inch for an '83 Cutlass, but a buddy wants to use my 61.5 inch out of my mod. What fits the best.
Thanks,
Stan

So is this a metric car? You're running off-set wheels with a 60"? because if it's metric-the shortest 9" is 56" and we shortened one axle tube and then ran shorter axles. That way it fits under the car and no messing with off-set unless you want too.

Thanks. Yeah, it's a metric. I've been looking at floaters and thought I'd ask what width is better. But, I've got a 60 and 62 inch stock ford rearends. Any help is appreciated.
