posted July 25, 2002 09:00 PM I know a lot of people prefer a 12 bolt. I personally like the 10 bolt out of a Camaro/Nova. It's a little easier to find parts for.

I like using the leaf spring rearends like Pickel. I am doing one right now. I prefer the leaf spring rears so I can make my own upper control arm mounts taller for more control arm angle. I have a guy I pit next to saying every week that I should get a 9 inch. So far this year he has bent about 4 axles (Moser I think)and the seasons only half over. Also he has been fighting with the disc brakes for a month now. Meanwhile my 10 bolt is still going strong. Axles are straight and have had no problems with my stock brakes. For now I am going to stick with the ole 10 bolt

posted July 26, 2002 08:07 AM a 12 bolt has the best selection of gears but the hardest to find parts for any more i'm with these guys i had a 10 bolt out of a nova that we jigged up. the rear ends out of those that you talked about are a little wide for a metric car so it kinda limits the offsets you can use and still keep the tires under the car
