Do you guys run a sway bar? My car does not have one on it currently. I do have one on my parts car that I can mount on it. What can I gain by using it?

Scoot last year i dint run one on dirt and when i ran the asphalt i nuetralized it and had no bushings where it mounted to the frame. I asked this question about a couple of months ago, one guy said that a fellow he new used one and was very quick the rest of the replies told me to can it so i dont use one it makes the front end independent, had no pushing problems whatsoever and liked the way the front end handled. Good Luck Eddie

There can be an advantage to running a front sway bar...IF... the track is extremely smooth and dry slick. If you use a sway bar, you must optimize your spring rates in the front to work with it. Simply bolting one on a decent handling car will make it tight overall. You can be fast with or without one, but it takes a different spring package. On the upside, it is a great tuning tools at the track but adding or subtracting preload.
