Do you guys run a sway bar? My car does not have one on it currently. I do have one on my parts car that I can mount on it. What can I gain by using it?

Scoot last year i dint run one on dirt and when i ran the asphalt i nuetralized it and had no bushings where it mounted to the frame. I asked this question about a couple of months ago, one guy said that a fellow he new used one and was very quick the rest of the replies told me to can it so i dont use one it makes the front end independent, had no pushing problems whatsoever and liked the way the front end handled. There can be an advantage to running a front sway bar...IF... the track is extremely smooth and dry slick. If you use a sway bar, you must optimize your spring rates in the front to work with it. Simply bolting one on a decent handling car will make it tight overall. You can be fast with or without one, but it takes a different spring package. On the upside, it is a great tuning tools at the track but adding or subtracting preload.
