I have a 79 Nova with new 225# leaf springs, and new Pro WB-96 shocks. The car bottoms out clear to the axle, over 7 inches of travel on the shock. I took out 150 pounds of ballast to see if it would help, but it still bottoms out. The only bigger spring is a 250, but I don't think that is enough to make a difference. Can anybody tell me what is going on???

What are your weight percentages and total weight with driver?

Total weight is 3,736 with driver. 51% rear, 53% left, and 49% wedge. This was before I removed 150 pounds of ballast from the rear, I did not weigh the car after that, I just wanted to see if it would still bottom out, and it did. The shocks travel 7 inches before bottoming out, so I don't think they are mounted wrong, but I am not sure of anything right now.

I was thinking of putting on 250 pound springs, but that doesn't seem to be a big enough difference to work. Any ideas? I hate to spend another 200 bucks for nothing.
