What kind of ratio can I get for my 12 bolt rearend? I have a 3.73, I'm trying to find something close to a 3.24? Also I have a 75 camaro outside, what kind of rearend would it have in it? and how can I tell?

Your camaro should have a 8.5" 10 bolt.

what do you want for a final ratio 12 bolts go up to 6something that way you could run in high gear if yopu get a summit or jegs or any racing parts catolog it will have a list of all the gears you can get for any type rear end you have

I want like a 6.20 ratio, I didnt think 12 bolts came in that gear. If it does thats what I'll do.

I had the same problem a few years ago. I couldn't find a GM gear over 4.56. I just switched to a 9", but thats expensive and maybe illegal. If you can swing it financially and rules wise, it will be worth it to switch.

I don't know why no one makes high ratios for GM carriers, seems like a lot of hobby cars can't run 9" Fords.

My latest summit catalog is showing a 6.14 gear set for the 12 bolt 8.875 in. That's about as close as you can get for the 12 bolt.

Western, can you get me a part number, I guess there is 2 different 12 bolts, one came out of a car and one out of a truck. The one I have is out of a truck. Summit says they dont have that low of a gear for that setup.
