First off, Thanks to all whom has helped!
This sat. took racer to track and badluck started; forgot gas funnuel you don't relize how important some things are until your running around asking for them)! Then it all got better. "OVERHEATING PROBLEM GONE"!!
HOTLAPS- 190*
HEAT---- 198-200* 3rd
FEATURE- 200-205* (2)CAUTIONS 5th
Now if I was turning 7200--7500 rpm's and really playing w/ the gas on a not quite dry-slick track, should I drop the 6.90 gear to a 6.50? Not complaining, just wanting checkered!! THANKS#75 TERP

Well, lastnight I was checking over things on the car & I notice there was power-steering fluid all-over the belts. After futher investigation, I saw fluid running down while its running & the resisavor was pressurized. What would cause that? THANKS TERP

You must have one h*ll of a motor to be in its power band at 7200 rpm. I think a 6.50 (maybe even 6.20) could help a lot.

Well the memory-recall said 7400 rpm's and I had a lot of peddle left. The motor was built w/ all the best goodies.(Corner office is a BIG NASCAR fan & heard he has an employee who races and opened his check-book.) With the 6.90's its turning 7000 out the corner & 7400 if I really smash the gas, but does'nt go forward fast! So I had to feather,& baby the gas off the corner alot. Thats wy I think dropping the final gear to 6.50 (1 to 1) should help? WesternAuto you think even a 6.20 maybe needed?
