Here's the info -
3150 lbs - 53% left, 53% rear, 51% cross
Springs 900 LF, 1125 RF, 250 LR, 225 RR
Tire Pressures - 12 psi on all four
2-1/2" stagger on rear wheels
3" offset on right side, 4" offset on left
The track is egg shaped with turns 1+2 being tight and fairly flat with turn 3+4 sweeping and moderatley banked. It is a large 1/4 mile.
The problem is I am loose off turn 2, the car is good in 3+4 and gets into and thru 1+2 well, but slides off and tends to get worse as the race goes on. I don't have 24/7 access to scales, so my question is if I turn the RR jack in (raising the car) 3/4", will that decrease cross and tighten me up a bit? The first time I drove, it pushed like a plow, so I lowered it 1-1/2" and it helped some. Am I on the right track? How about turning the RF in? What would that do? I'm also thinking of increasing the RF spring rate, maybe go to a 1200 or 1250.
Thanks, this my first car with weight jacks, so I'm not sure how to predict their effects. My old car, it had less power and more weight, liked much softer springs than this one.
