I am currently running Bilstein shocks at all four corners. I was told by another driver that he runs a heavy duty stock shock at the right rear corner. What does everyone else think? Keep in mind we cannot use all out racing shocks in this class.

Pro Shocks has a good stock mount adjustable shock for metrics. It has an easy-up , 50-50
and a tie down setting position. They aren't real expensive, about 55.00.
We use them on 2400lb limited modifieds.

jim don't try it i did last week car was like a basketball coming off the corner bilstien is the only way to go under imca rules since they put a couple bucks in kathy's pocket from time to time but if you don't run imca and just a stock mount shock rule doc is right the pro's are realy good too

I reeeelly like the bilsteins. I put them on our new street stock this year. My rookie driver has no trouble getting through the corners. I would not mix high pressure (bilstein) and low pressure (Pro, Afco, Carrera.) on the same car. My feeling is that these cars are under shocked in the front anyway so just bolt on the best you can afford and run em. Tune the car with other adjustments. Also the Bilsteins are smaller so they don't rub on the adjuster. I move the lower mount in towards the center of the car 3/4" to help clearance too.

Hey 17j, that is a good description of the way his car was handling Saturday night. At least thats the way it looked from the pits.

thats how i felt in the dang thing but i learned two things tho so it'as not a total loss
1 don't mix racing with stock shock and springs
2 a head rest is a good investment lol
