I'm building an 81 cutlass for our roadrunner
class 1/2 mile my car is a 355 2bbl 3 spd
456 rear 7.5 8" rims with hoosiers the problem is our rules state no aftermarket suspension parts. My car was a diesel and I'm planning on using the diesel front right coil spring but what about the rest of the suspension? any help is aprecieated

Put solid lower A-arm bushings in, uppers too if can hide 'em. On the right lower you'll notice the frame will hit the lower right behind the spring, trim that back. Put good shocks on it , and good luck!

i ran the same set up used a stock v8 spring on the left and citation springs on the rear shocks i went with shocks off an older diesle wagon on the front and s-10 shocks on the rear . speedway has stock springs for 45 each thats what i'm running this year and they work great if they ask just say you had then sand blasted and painted as long as you pull the weight tags off then they can't prove a thing because they are stock length and have 2 pig tails on the rears
