I know that there is a 500 cfm 2 barrel, but I dont know if this was the biggest. I think a lot of the Hobbystock drivers in my area run carbs that came off of old grain trucks.

Every one of the largest 2G carbs, no matter WHAT they came off of, were never rated at much more than about 450-475cfm.
All of the 1 3/8" 2bbl bodies were made with identical venturi (if you rule out out slight variations due to quality, etc, since they are not machined surfaces.
The largest baseplate Rochester ever put on any 2bbl was 1.687" in diameter, no matter what vehicle it was on.
Any 2bbl Rochester that flows more than 500cfm will have been modified after being built by someone along the way.

Just throwin' out some info for ya....hope it helps.

I have one in stock right now. $250 as is. We also have the ability to build "outlaw style" 2G's that flow well over 650cfm.
We can locate more large bore 2G's if anyone
is interested, we just don't sell too many anymore so we don't keep many in stock.

Also, all our non-modified 2G's are IMCA legal, in fact, all our carbs are built to pass anyone's tech inspection.

Just let us know if we can help,

There are many part #'s for the 1 3/8" venturi Rochester 2G. 7041118 is one that comes to mind, but there are numerous others.
All of them had 1.687" throttle bores.

The one we have in stock now I'd let go for $200 in "as is" condition, or we would be glad to build it up to race ready condition for anyone's rules (additional costs, of course).

GO to your county school bus garage. the old GM buses had the 2g you are want(probably the Grain truck would too). If the bus shop doesn't have any of the old carbs there find out what junk yard was buying up the old buses at auction and go see them.I run one with a race float and holley jets and it does well. but you should consider KP's deal getting that is truely race ready is hard to beat.
