Dont know anything about the side glass but can tell you that a spoiler dont help unless the rear window is enclosed which pretty much make sense. Eddie

Hey Big Bird, don't think it helps. I think it makes some cars look nicer, and it adds a place for a sponsor or a couple stickers.

Speaking of spoilers, anybody run one? All you camaro guys can run 'em, do you see any difference?

A guy who built an ARCA cars told me once that any car can benefit from one. I don't think it would make a slow car fast, but building a fast car is the sum of a thousand little things. Plus they look cool.

Late models don't have rear windows, their spoilers seem to work. Here's my understanding, the best way to get air to a spoiler is straight thru the interior, over the trunk and on to the spoiler (like a late model). Problem is at 150mph, it's a little too windy w/o a windsheild so you need to go over the roof, down the back window and over the trunk. That's why decklid and rear window design is so important in big time racing (remember the Areo Coupe Monte Carlo?). JMO.

Side glass looks cool, that's about it.

Have run with and without havent noticed a difference although i havent used rear glass either been told that rear glass makes a differece running a spoiler. also opening up the rear of the car like a late model makes a difference although most rules for street stocks dont approve that. Short tracks dont give enough speed for aerodynamics but the spoiler does look good along with the side glass. Eddie

just do like those unlimited (run what ya brung) latemodels do and run a big sheet of plexiglass on the right side of your car. if your rules say you cant which i doubt they do. you will lose some side visibility and it will make your car look "fatter" from the side. how long is your track and what speeds do you reach most of the time. if it is a long track and you got high speed it will make a world of diffrence with a spoiler. if you put one on make it steep and tall as possible to give you as much down force. if im wrong dont worry. im wrong all the time. just correct me!!
