Rusty88 ive hunted everywhere on the net for intake cast #'s and couldnt find a thing , did find 2 pages of casting #'s for heads that will come in usefull, a buddy of mine who use to race and is a big Chevy buff told me this much by the casting # you should find a 1" letter R-being the best T-2nd best and S-the least. Ive got a T on my car right now and am trying to come up with an R. Hope this helps. Eddie

The GM performance "marine" intake part number is 14096011. It's like the z28, except its cast iorn. Your local GM dealer can order it for you.

Good luck,

Snowman is right on with that "marine" casting. A friend of mine uses it and he swears it's the best for that application

Thanks Dixon. I think it's the way to go if you must use cast iron. Some tracks have outlawed it. I don't know if they outlawed it beause of it's performance or, just as a cost control. Man, I hope it's not illegal at Rusty's track....He might not like me very much. Perhaps I should have mentioned that earlier.....Sorry. What can I say ? Nobody's perfect..........

Congrats to " The Dirt Forum Champ", Racer17j. I salute You, Fine Sir. Not only on your racing experience and knowledge, But also on your great attitude, Your willingness to help others and share your experiences. You're the CHAMP !!!!!!!!

Hey guys thanks for all the help. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a Canada K intake before I am told they are a good flowing intake and work well for racing.

we run a brzezinski manifold. it is a worked over cast iron that out flows a marine manifold. brzezinski offer different levels of modifications. it can be a little pricey,
but well worth it.
