does anybody use ajustable front leaf spring brackets? my camaro has been gutted extensivly and the rear of the car has been braced accordingly.. but where the front of the spring is mounted looks kinda weak now.. ive seen street stocks with the ajustable brkts. and thought that would be a good way to beef them up and also give me some ajustablity. also what exactly do you ajust with these brackets....ride height? the brackets have like 5 holes that are vertical and it comes off of the frame.. i have my car stripped down to the frame and cage and before i go further i may want to change it... sorry this is so long i know with you guys help ill have my car on the track before too long.. i am doing this all by my self and i really do need all the help i can get..

I had the same problem with my 79' camaro. The area where the spring mount bolted in was rotted and very weak. I cut the old mounting surface out and built a new one off the frame with some plate steel. Your idea sounds pretty good too. I know mine wont go anywhere, maybe you could put the two together and come up with something better.
