I need some help. I'm wanting to put an aftermarket power steering pump on my 80 camaro hobby stock. My question is it says it comes with a -6(assuming AN6) pressure fitting, but specify AN8 or AN10 supply fitting. I dont have a clue what to order. I just have a stock gm steering box. Also is head or block mount better? Thanks in advance.

You need a remote reservoir for this pump. You can also get them with either a -8 or -10 fitting, just match it up with your pump, and get fittings and hose to match. As far as head or block mount, either works well, it's just according to how much space you have. For example, if you're running a front mount dry sump oil pump, you would probably use a head mount for the p/s pump.

We have two engines for this season; one has accessory holes in the heads and the other doesn't. I bought the block mount so I could use the new pump set up easily with either engine. Just another consideration.
