I got a good deal on some racing rims off of a imca mod, but they are 5 on 5 chevy. I got a metric, 5 on 4 3/4, and I'm going to put a Ford 9" under it with 5 on something. The mod has a metric front end with redrilled spindels, can I redrill the axels. I ask because there is 10 bart rims with different offsets for $10 each. I think it would be cheaper to redrill the axel and front spindels.

the front rotors can be redrilled or Speedway sells a redrilled rotor for around $65 . some nine inch Ford rear ends come with 5x5 axles from the factory . Mostly in LTDs and other big cars . Most trucks were 5.5x5 . Smaller cars were 4.5x5. I have had axles redrilled to Chev 4.75 x5 pattern with average success. Aftermarket axles would be best cause they are tough and you can order them with the correct bolt pattern. Hope this helps .

The ford 9" axels have these big holes in them (from factory) around where they need to be drilled. Thanks for the help on the previous posts.
