we have a 10inche vacume rule at 800rpm idle. no 4brl manifolds allowed and no spacers. just dropped in a 480 hydralic cam and now pulling 81/2inches. any suggestions?

change your duration check with your cam company & provide them with your car & track specs & they will be able to recomend proper cam for you

More compression, less duration, wider lobe seperations, smaller intake runners. That's about all you can do. i'd go for more compression as long as your not limited.

thank you both for your suggestions. tried them both and we are now pulling required vacume. i appreciate the help.
