HELLO, I GOT A METRIC CAR AND RULES SAY MUST BE STOCK,OEM PARTS, I WAS THINKING OF RUNNING IMPALA OR CAMARO SPINDLES, WAS WANTING TO KNOW WHICH ONE IS BETTER ? AND RUNNING A 86 CAMARO CENTER LINK, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD WORK BETTER ? THIS IS FOR 1/2 MILE DIRT. ANY INFO ON THIS I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

If you don't need the big calipers and rotors of those spindles then why not save weight and run the metric spindle? The metric stuf is really cheap and easy to find.

If you run the proper ball joints with the metric spindles your roll centers will be close enough for the average racers. I have run metric spindles for five years and never broke one although I have bent two. It's cheaper to buy metric spindles than center links and tie rod assemblies. Just my opinion.

You can use which ever spindle you prefer, but the metric will be the easiest to replace. You can change the roll center by using different length balljoints, and if your allowed to modify the upper control arm mount, you can also rework it to lower the mounting point of the control arm.
Useing the 86 camaro center link and tie rods will help to reduce bump steer.

i would say impala upper control arms with ford galaxie lower control arms with ***** in chrysler ball joints. i know this sounds weird but it works. impala spindles because they are heavier. the camaro center link would do just fine. if you could find one off of a firebird with the WS-6 suspension it should be heavier. stock is stock and these parts are OEM if you get them from the junkyard and from a local parts store. i know this would take some modifying but it is used alot in racing. you said "STOCK" LONG LIVE THE RACER!!!!!
