Had a buddy tell me that there are some model S-10 rear ends that will fit into 1970-81 Camaros. Any truth to this? If there are some that fit, what years will fit w/the camaros. My need is a 10 bolt 3.73 geared rear end so if an S-10 fits, it would help.

I can tell you from experience go ahead and give the $150. When i started hunting gears in junkyards I found out its a nightmare. Not only that most junkyards will only sell rearends whole, around here they ask $225. So unless you need some spare axles and stuff give the 150 and get the gear.

posted December 23, 2001 09:06 PM I don't know about everyone else but I have to run a McKreary EC2 and a 10"rim and withall that weight and the side bit I get I find I brack alot of axles so I went to a Ford 9inch. If this is alowed in your rules and the money is available that is the best way to go in my own experience anyway.
