I have a pair of metric spindles that I need to ream to clean-up the top of the holes (after bending BJs). The Afco catalog lists 2 tapered reamers for the job. Does anybody know which one I need?

I don't want to change the taper, just cut it a little deeper.

Thanks.

Email ow racer. Go to his web site at www.coxracingchassis.50megs.com and he will tell you what you need to know. He does all of ours and has the part #'s to get. I think you have to get both , one for the top and the other for the bottom, not sure which is which but Michael or Andy will know.

Now is a good time to check your spindle for straighness, it may not be worth messing around with. Also, be aware that reaming out your spindle will: make it shorter, lower your roll center and effect your bumpsteer.

I already run the tall upper balljoint for all those reasons. And the reaming is just on a spare pair that are too good to throw away.

I really think it's the 2" per foot taper that I need. But I don't want to spend $100 and be wrong...
