I have seen a few metric cars that have the upper springs buckets raised so that the car can use a longer rear spring. What would be the advantage to running say a 13" coil vs the 11". ...........Just wondering, Thanks

There is no advantage that I can think of if they are raising the spring bucket for them to fit. We use 8" springs with a adjustable spacer in the stock spring seat.
