I was just looking into buying a K&N Stubstack for my holley 4412 two barrel. Has anybody out there used this and would you recommend this. I also use the Flow control Air cleaner and am not sure if this works together. I'm just trying to massage the last few legal Hp out of my motor. Thanks a lot.

The stubstack will not work with the flow control setup. They are two products that attempt to do similar things, the only difference is that the stub stack is on the market so that it can be used along with a regular air cleaner setup (K&N or otherwise).
The flow control setup, IMHO, would be your best bet, based on what I've seen in dyno #'s and on-track experiences.

Hope that helps.

The stubstack is a good idea in situations where nothing but the normal style air cleaner is required by the rules. It can be set over the carb, on top of the air cleaner base. When the tech inspector wants to see the open 4412 for inspection, just remove the nut, and pull the base, filter, and all straight up and set it in the car or hand it to an assistant. See what I mean?
