I'm going to build a dodge dart for a friend, he races a ply volary body now he was fast until this year now we are kicking his but we all built lighter cars around 3200 to 3500 pounds his car weighs 4100 pounds . He has the motor and the ability but we need to build a shorter wheel base car and lighter what year dart and what torsion bars work the best ,what stock mount shocks work the best ? we will be building a box under the **** pit and tieing the front and rear sections together .We race on 1/4 mile dirt med banking.

Well I think the Diplomat or the Fifth Avenue would be your best bet for a light car. No offense here but I would try another site for mopar only tech help.

They have a very informative circle track column there.

Yeah, I think that Racer4 is right. The guys at moparchat are the way to go for answers to this type of question. I have been working on an imca modified for about a year and I run mopar. They have been more help than I can even tell you. It is a great website.
