I went to PRO SHOCK's web site and printed off the page on locating front roll centers. Now I'm really confused! We measured then remeasured then someone else measured and all came up with the same. our left lower A arm is completely level with the ground 9 1/2" on inside and outside points. the right lower a arm is 9 1/2" from the ground on the inside point, and 9" on the outside point(ball joint). The big problem is the upper a arms. there both angeled opposite of the way of the PRO SHOCKS diagram. Both are higher on the inside and closer to the ground on the (ball joint) side. Are the springs to short? Im lost! anybody else ran into this.

The problem is your spindle height. The distance between the centers of the upper and lower balljoints needs to be increased. You can do this by using a spindle that has a taller height or by using ball joints that are taller. You may even need both to get the height you need. Afco has a upper and lower joint for this. The upper joint is p\n 20032-1 and the lower is p\n 20038-1. You can also if your allowed, rework the upper a-arm mount on the frame to lower the mounting point.

what would be a good spindle choice for the small metric front to increase the length. I'll do whatever it takes. thanks for the ball joint info! Getting the 68-74 nova lowers to increase track width, If I can find some cheap enough. what all needs to be changed with this modification, so I can do it all at once?

The ball joints will probably make the difference you need. You might lso lower the mount on the frame if your rules allow that, but change the ball joints first then remeasure.

right now rearend is wider then front track by 2 inches so I figured I'll widen the front and get the taller balljoints to correct roll center. I've checked past lists and it seems nowbody wants to give the info for using the nova lower A's. I'm sure I could figure it out, with alot of precious time involved, but it sure would be alot easier if someone could tell what other parts are needed for this modification. If I'm going to go through the pains of correcting this factory mess I might as well do it right. Come on, someone out there nows how to do this.DO TELL.PLEASE!
