I WAS PUTTING FRONT BRAKES ON MY 4X4 S-10 THE OTHER DAY AND HAD A BRAIN STORM AND WAS WANTING SOME INPUT. I AM GOING TO PUT A FORD 9" UNDER MY CAR AND AM PUTTING ON DISK BRAKES.
IF I PULL OFF THE OLD DRUM BRAKES. DRILL THE DRIVE PLATE TO 5X5. THEN PUT A SET OF 4X4 S-10 FRONT ROTORS @5X5 ON THE PLATE. NOW PUT A SET OF BRAKETS FOR A METRIC CALIPER ON THE AXEL HOUSING WILL IT WORK.

I used the setup for years. I redrilled the axles to 4 3/4 and then just used the rotors from the s10 as is. Works great. sixwillwin
