The rear main seal on a 400 should be different, since the 400 diameter is bigger. If you align bore the mains on the block, Fel Pro has a special gasket for that, too so that it won't be a major leaker. So, that, and head gaskets...is all that is different. Hope this helps!

Head gaskets, rear main is about all. Oil pan, Timing cover, Your choice of intake depending on what intake your running and like wise on header gskts.

THE 400 HAS EXTRA WATER PASSAGES ON THE HEAD AND BLOCK.THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THE HEAD GASKET THAT I KNOW OF IS THE EXTRA HOLES IN THE GASKET.I PUT 350 HEADS ON A 400 BLOCK AND USED THE 400 GASKETS TO SEAL THE HOLES AND IT WOKED JUST FINE.
