AT OUR LOCAL TRACK STREET STOCKS HAVE BECOME MORE LIKE MODIFIEDS THAN STREET STOCKS. MOST OF THE CARS ARE WELL OUTSIDE THE RULES. MOST DRIVERS ARE AFFRAID TO PUT UP THE$100 TO CHALANGE BECAUSE OFFICALS HAVE A REPUTATION OF GIVING THEIR OK. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE WAS HAVING THIS PROBLEM AT THEIR TRACKS AND IF ANYONE HAD SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. PUSHING THE RULES IS JUST RACING BUT PUTTING A STREET BODY ON A MODIFIED LATE MODEL IS WRONG.

You're not alone. We have similar problems at our track. We've even had the track owner refuse to take money for a protest. Our street stock and pure stock classes are so close they might as well be one class. The only difference I know of is the carb. Sorry, but I have no solutions. If I could only win the lottery, I swear I would buy my own track.
