I run a Saganaw 3 speed out of a Chev. Truck. The one you are looking for has the big front bearing. You could probably pick one up at your local junk yard for about $50.

IS THE TRANNY OUT OF A TRUCK HEAVIER THAN ONE OUT OF A CAR AND WHAT ABOUT THE SHIFTER LINKAGE.

The trans. is not heavier it's just the front bearing is heavy duty bearing to take the torque. The shifting linkage is the same as a car.
