What are your preferences on a race car for this class? I know alot of people run old camaros and some metric cars, what is fastest and easier to set up?

some tracks do not allow the use of camaros. metric cars are easy to get parts for

I agree with bk19...metric is the best way to go..

i would consider a nova it has the same front stub as the camaro and it has a rear leaf which is easier and more forgiving to set up than the rear coil. the only drawback is that it does not have a full frame.

I'm building a Camaro myself right now.
At the track I've been told the Camaro is
better for a beginner. Steve Smith Autosports
Publications, which has some good books on
Street-Stock building and set-up, reccomends
a Camaro 1st choice, Monte-Carlo second.
It's pretty much all Camaros & Monte-Carlos
at my track. I've seen a few Chevelles and
Novas, they don't seem to be as fast as the
