Guys, gotta see this one...
The A.S.N. unit weighs a total of 42 lbs as shown. They have plans to knock off 6 lbs of the final design. Can be set up with or without the disconnected clutch. The transmission is less than 12 inches long and will swallow the inch longer slip yoke. This is as bulletproof as it gets.

you had it on your site before I got it on my own, now that is taking care of your sponsors.

Final low down, the trans itself will weigh 30 pounds, the clutch assembly with hydraulics adds 5-6 pounds and the flywheel another 2-3, less than 40 pounds total when she is done.

No castings, all billet.

The picture above is of one currently touring the country, at either the trade shows in Ft Worth or Kansas City this weekend. We have units at both, and will have them at others soon.

The final design will be even racier as we lighten the unit down to race weight.

What the heck does ASN stand for ? It is pronounced Assassin and is the baddest of the bad.

We are still tallying the final price as this unit was finished up today and already you see it on the dirt forum. Keep an eye on the layne website for more details as available.

VERY NICE looking tranny, I noticed that the Layne website shows a price of $3100, Kinda pricy but as we all know going fast is not cheap!!
