There are lots of pitfalls to starting your own racing business. You have to watch out for the unknown's like when you place an order for the 1st time for 4 wheels and you get a surprise like 85 bucks for handling. There's lots of low life out there that are looking to rip you off, and even more who would love to see you fall on your face! Mistakes like these are just the thing to cause failure right away, be careful, or you'll end up with more debt than you can handle and... racing? forget about racing after that.

You might try to become a dealer for some of the big catalog companies like Motorstate Distributing. Try some of your local speed dealers as well. Most of them are always looking for additional sales help. May not make a lot of money, but you can purchase your parts at a better price. Like Racer 4 mentioned...watch out for the individuals who order parts and want you to be the "banker". Make sure you have the money upfront or at least enough to cover shipping both ways plus a restocking fee unless it is a part that you want to "own". Of course, for any sucessful business means service!...service!...service!
