OK racers...I'm sending my Ford,GM,Mopar reps on a search thru their
warehouses and I need the casting numbers for the ENGINE parts you most want
(blocks, heads, cranks, etc) and are the best for racing. They're not a racers
and don't really have a clue on "stock" performance parts. Share your
casting numbers with me and I'll see what they can locate. Application will
not work as they don't have the time to cross-reference from a particular
car or truck. I'll post for sale whatever I can find. PS...I still have 4-5
of the new all-aluminum Ford Duratec 2.3 DOHC engines...$700.dollars +
shipping. Some of the other websites says this is in the same engine family
as the current European Cosworth-style Fords. Only weighs about 200 pounds
complete! GM has the new V-8 Gen III bare aluminum blocks too...$450.dollars + shipping! Thanks!!

There are several posts on the casting numbers on the forum. All you have to do is do a search for "casting" on here and you will find everything you need. I suggest everyone learn how to use this, because if you need a quick reference about something, this is the way to find it on here. It is basically a racing data base full of info on everything now. Just do a search and you will be very surprised.

Hi Jammin'! You are absolutely right about the casting numbers on this site. You've done a great job in having those at our disposal! I have gotten enough requests for factory surplus engines and engine components for the 4 cylinders that I decided to ask everyone what they looking for. The manufacturers have test programs, surpluses and "warranty returns" for engine components to fill a 300,000 square foot building. Much of this stuff is sold to major rebuilders or sold as scrap. As a race component supplier (engine block) to Ford and GM and as a purchaser of engine components from Mopar, my employer, Kansas Racing Products does have certain purchasing privileges. I just try to "rescue" and find homes for parts as they are released. Thanks!
