As the 2001 racing season comes to an end, and the 2002 season approaches, Eagle Chassis & Fabrication is offering a special program to help sponsor 25 race teams in various parts of the US and Canada.

We are prepared to offer these 25 teams a complete 2002 Eagle III Modified built to their specs for our cost and will support them with parts and help throughout the 2002 season. Our current plans include having one of our house car teams spend at least one race night with each team at their home track to help each local team in any way they can.

We are also prepared to deal with teams that have a limited budget and would still like to race an Eagle III Chassis using parts they already have.

This offer is extended on a first come, first served basis and is limited to one car and/or one team per track and delivered prior to the opening night of the 2002 season for their home track. It does not matter how large or small your team is to qualify.

The rules are simple. The car must compete for the track points championship throughout the 2002 season and must display the Eagle Chassis & Fabrication logo at all times. Any team winning their home track points championship will recieve a 2003 Eagle Chassis at no cost. Teams racing at multiple tracks will recieve support proportional to their efforts.

Any team interested in obtaining more information may e-mail me at JRRGS@AOL.COM

All interested teams should e-mail me or PM me here on the forum. Each one will be answered via e-mail or PM reply. It would be too hard to handle the inquiries by phone. The selected teams will then be contacted by phone and the details worked out.

Everyone,

The response has been incredible. I have spoken to many of you on the phone over the last few days and hope to see your names on the list real soon.

All,

Everyone wants to know the details and my typing fingers are killing me from all the e-mails. Here's the numbers.

I will custom build you a chassis to your personal specs. Height, weight, etc. I will support you with parts, that I buy, at my actual invoice cost. If it is a part that I make, you will only pay the cost of the material or, on some parts, there will be no cost to you. I will continue on the sponsorship program as long as you are running an Eagle Chassis. This is not just a one season deal. It will last as long as you want.

A complete car will cost between $6500 and $7600, depending on the tyoe of rear suspension you choose. There are other options available that you can choose at my cost. The car is COMPLETE. All you will need is your motor, headers, trans, driveshaft and gears. It even includes the midplate and radiator. The average car for the 8 teams we have selected has been $7250. That's the average.

Anything that we develop that improves the performance of the car will be sent to you a no cost to you. If you win a local points championship, you will recieve a new chassis at no cost. If you choose, you may purchase a new car each season at my cost, usually around $1500. If you return your old chassis, the cost will be $1250. The reason I would like to have the old ones back is to analyze any damage, defects, etc. and improve the designs. If a new design is developed, you will be offered the same price as a replacement chassis. If the new design will not accept your original parts, as designed, I will include the proper parts to complete the change over at no cost to you.

If you have your own floater, seat, guages, etc. That will be deducted from the car you choose. I will work with teams with limited budgets and will work a way to pay for the car with them. The car MUST be fully paid for when it is delivered, but we can spread out the amounts to fit a team's budget. Further, I will pay you a commission on any business you send to me to help offset your racing costs.

This is a basic description of just SOME of the things I will provide in the sponsorship program. If any team is interested in a program like this, please e-mail me or PM me here on The Dirt Forum and we will get together and talk about ALL of the details.

This is a REAL opportunity for a team to get a new Eagle III Modified and the support that goes along with it. A forum will be established to share technology, ideas, information between all the teams and myself.

All,

Our new website is up and running.

We still have a few sponsorship programs left. Teams signing on under this program should do so by 11/30/01. That will assure that their cars will be ready for opening night at their local track. We don't want to get caught in a rush just before racing season starts.

All,

I don't know where I came up with that date in the last post. I corrected it. That date is for tracks that open in March. For later track openings, I would like to have 30-45 days to build the cars. Less time is needed if they are semi-complete cars.
