Robert Ringo Put a Whippin on Street Stock

Robert Ringo and Gene Brown shared the heat wins for street stock. On the start of the feature Ringo blasted into the lead and never looked back. When the checkered waved Ringo with his new Billy Kirkwood motor had a whole straightaway over the rest of the field. Gene Brown took second, Shannon Graham third, Jason Wilks fourth and Randy Jamison fifth. The feature was caution free.
Zane Barcelona and Eric McCallister took the pure stock heat wins. Bo Garig blasted into the lead on the start and led every lap and scored the win. Zane Barcelona jumped right in behind Garig and these two pulled away from the rest of the field Barcelona finished second. Tim Moran third, Alvin King fourth and Troy Dean fifth.
UMP heat winner Jeff Martello got the lead on the drop of the green and led every lap and scored the win. Frank Hillyard Sr. the other heat winner followed and took second. The real battle was for third between Darron Carroll and Roy Schnebelen who swapped positions four times Carroll finally kept third and finished there followed by Schnebelen in fourth.
Wayne Everett and Scotty Covington took the heat wins for mini stock. On the first lap Larry Clayton went into the infield on the back straightaway while Scotty Covington and Elvis Turbville made contact. On the restart Clayton slipped right under Everett and into the lead. Everett started to spin and Covington with no where to go got into him. Both cars were placed at the rear on the restart. Clayton sailed on to take the win. Wayne Everett came back up threw the field to finish second, Covington third, Donna Everett fourth and Daniel Jessup fifth.
On the start of the late model feature the heat winners Eric Courville and Jerry Bevis took first and second while behind them for third they ran 4 wide down the front straightaway till they reached turn one and piled up. Courville went on to0 lead every lap and take the win, Jerry Bevis took second and Phil Cooper survived the four wide Malay and went onto score third.
Andy Stroughter and co pilot took the heat win in Cruiser cars. But in the feature brothers Shawn and Shane Parker got into Stoughter and flattened 2 tires sending him to the pits. The Parker brothers went on to take the feature win.
