posted January 23, 2002 10:17 PM Superbowl slates six-date I.M.C.A. Stock series GREENVILLE, Texas (Jan. 23) - Six races will be held over the course of just 29 days in the I.M.C.A. Sunoco Stock Car series slated at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville. Each event pays $500 to win and a minimum of $50 to start the feature. The opener is this Saturday night, Jan. 26, in a program that also sports the sanctioned I.M.C.A. Sunoco Modifieds. The series continues with a Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 2-3 twinbill and concludes with a tripleheader Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15-16-17. National and regional points will be given for each race. Information about start times is available from the track at (903) 883-2504. Competitors are advised to call ahead and inquire about weather conditions before making the tow to the track. RVs are welcome but drivers and fans should note that no hookups are available. The series is sponsored by Smiley's Racing Products.
