Jason Wilks Takes Street Stock Feature

Mark Hardwick and Bo Garig shared the heat wins for Pure Stock. Zane Barcelona brought the 15 car field of pure stockers to a start. Bo Garig ran wheel to wheel with Barcelona for the lead till a five car pile up in two on the second lap brought out the first yellow. On the restart Garig and Barcelona ran wheel to wheel for the lead till Garig took the lead on the front straightaway. With two laps remaining the second and final yellow of the race was when Tim Moran sat on the back stretch with a flat. Bo Garig went on to take the win followed by Zane Barcelona, Darrel Guy, Darren Dean, and Stacy Buecker.
Scott Holt and Chad Williams shared the front row for the Modified. Scott Holt took the lead on the start. But by turn one Frank Hillyard was into the wall in turn two. On the restart it was Chad Williams with the lead. But Jerry Cassano soon Rn Williams down and took the lead. Holt ran third. Conrad Cupit and James Ward swapped position for fourth several times. Finally Ward got fourth then took third from Holt and second from Williams, but couldn't run down Cassano. Cassano scored the win with Ward second, Williams third, Holt fourth and Cupit fifth. Ward, Cassano, and Cupit all shared heat wins.
Todd Hazel took the lead on the start of the street stock feature followed by Tommy Cannon. Jason Wilks snuck up and took second from Cannon. Wilks then took over the lead. Coming off four Cannon and Hazel got hooked togther and brought out the yellow. On the restart it was Wilks leading the field and went on to take the win. Randy Jamison took second, Shannon Graham third, Don Bolton fourth and rounding out the top five was Bobby Tate. Wilks and Cannon took the heat wins.
Calvin Tyler and Wayne Everett took the heat wins for mini stock. Wayne Everett took the lead on the start and held it all the way. Elvis Turbville ran second but couldn't run Everett down and had to settle for second. Calvin Tyler third, Tom Dancy fourth and Donna Everett fifth.
Jerry Bevis and Dwight Falcon shared the heat wins for Late Models. Falcon took the lead from Bevis on the start only to have it taken away from him by Bevis a couple laps later. Bevis went on to take the win in his family owned GRT, sponsored by Kuntz & Company, Ray & Wanda Bevis, Amsoil, and wife Marty's Marlee's Embroidery. Kevin Watts took second and Dwight Falcon third but right after they passed the checkered they got hooked togther on the front straightaway. Kennith Crowe fourth and David Burkhaulter fifth.
