Watson Bobbles on Last Lap and Patrick Passes For the Win

Dallas Grice started from the pole of the pure stock feature and took
the lead on the start. Zane Barcelona moved into second and took over the
lead. First yellow flew when Jeremy McMillan spun in four. Because Barcelona
jumped the start Bo Garig was given the lead on the restart. Bo Garig goes on
to score the win followed by Zane Barcelona, A few car lengths back in third
was Darrell Guy, Dallas Grice, and fifth Tim Moran. Heat wins were McMillian
and Grice.
James Ward and Kalif Sellier took the ump heat wins. Frank Hillyard
started on the pole and by turn one got out of shape and Dale Aucoin on the
outside of him also got out of shape and then cars went everywhere, On the
restart James Ward was on the pole. Ward took the lead as the green flag
waved. Ward went on to score the win. Kalif Sellier started 6th and went to
the pits under caution and came back from the rear to finish second. Third
went to Mark Chamel, fourth Ricky Begnaud. Bobby Semple was running fifth and
on the last lap a car got into him and caused him to spin. Clay Schexnayder
went on to take fifth.
Ricky Price and Scooter Paetz rook the heat wins for pure stock. Price
started on the pole, but from outside the front row Bobby Tate jumped into
the lead. Followed by Ricky Price. Price lost it in two earning a trip to the
rear. Todd Hazel spun in two and Shannon Graham got caught into it. Then
Ricky Price with no where to go nailed him. On the restart it was Bobby Tate
all the way to take the win followed by Jason Wilks, Ed Miles, Gene Brown and
Gary Talbert.
Mini Stock heat win went to Scotty Covington. From the pole Wayne
Everett took the lead. Scotty Covington moved into third behind Calvin Taylor
but couldn't get by him. He tried lap after lap till finally in four he got
under Taylor and got by, but by this time Everett had gotten half a track
away. Everett took the win followed by Covington, Calvin Taylor, Melvin
Sibley, and Mike Tyler.
Donald Watson jumped to the lead in the late model feature and led every
lap till the last lap when he bobbled in four and Sam Patrick took advantage
of it and dropped under him and into the lead and took the win. Right behind
Patrick was Donald Watson and Dwight Falcon side by side as they came over
the line, but Falcon had Watson by about three inches and took second. Watson
third. Kevin Watts took fourth and rounding out the top five was Bill Gordon.
