heat events and 2 consis. Boyle in just his 2nd season of racing showed
his cool in taking the first of 5 heats putting him on the pole for the
main event.
Boyle sat alongside Mike Ward and Boyle jumped out into the lead
and he was pressured throughout but Pete Stefanski and Jipp Ortiz made
contact and sent Ortiz realing the remainder of the event. 6 cautions
and 1 red slowed Boyle's pace. At the end it was Boyle, Pete Stefanski,

driving to hold off Pietz. 5 cautions slowed the pace. On 2 restarts

rookie Ferri holding off Piez for the win and they were followed
byPaulgaboury, Jeff Leggett and Page. Leggett and Ferri were the heat
winners.
The 15 lap Street Stocks had Bill wade and John Dietz leading
the field and it was the rookie Dietz in the early going with Nick

outside by Micallef holdingdown the fort. Lap 7 Mark Loveland was in the
runnerup spot but on lap 9 Loveland bobbled and lost 3 positions back to
5th and Alex Morris took over 2nd. Morris took the lead from Micallef
and would hold on until the final lap as Morris drifted too high in turn

Crawford, and Korton. Morris, Loveland, and Micallef were the heat
winners.
