Justin Allgaier has only begun his racing career,
currently in his first year of late models, but at
the age of 15, won his first feature Saturday
night. Utilizing the pole starting position, Allgaier
led all 25 laps, at times pulling out to a 4 second
lead over Matt Taylor. Taylor finished second,
with Ed Bauman, Joe Ross Jr, and Virgil Bilbrey
rounding out the top five.
Heat races were won by Steve Sheppard, Jr over
Lonnie Franklin, Jr and Justin Allgaier over
Virgil Bilbrey. Fast time went to Kirby Damery
with the Dash going to John Graham over
Allgaier.

In the modified division, 30 year driving veteran
Jim Leka won the feature

As a sidenote, track officials belive Justin to be the youngest driver to ever win a late model feature at Macon. Also, UMP is looking back through the records they have, thinking the same thing for UMP......
