Quincy MI (June 16, 2001) – It was John Fast Roofing night at Butler Motor Speedway on Saturday night with an overflow of cars in the pits and full grandstands.Eric Wilson held off several challenges by Carl Forsythe to take the Street Stock feature while Bob Thoms held off Mark Stemen to take the Sprint feature and Bob Dooley took home the Late Model feature.

Litchfield Michigan driver Eric Wilson led all 20 laps in the Street Stock feature to take home the top prize. He was followed by Carl Forsythe, Larry Kulikowski, Marty French, Randy Patton, Art Roggow, Grady Jarrell, Mark George, Don Kittle and Chuck Ewing rounded out the top 10. Heats were won by Wilson, Kulikowski, Mark George and Rusty Schlenk. Jarrell and Dallas Prater took the B Mains.

Thoms was challenged several times by Greg Dahlman and then a late race charge by Mark Stemen but Sherwood Michigan’s Thoms was able to hold on to win over Stemen, Greg Wheeler, Doug Zimmerman, Dahlman, Chad Blonde, Bill Waite Jr, Corey Bevard, Sean Robinson with Patrick Shaffer rounding out the top 10. Heats were won by Todd Wohlford, Mark Aldrich and Keith Love. Mike Schumaker took the B Main.

Late Model action saw Bob Dooley start on the outside of the front row and never look back as he took the 25 lap Late Model feature win over Bob Coats, Rick Swartout, Linc Stevens, Glenn Bradley, Rich Neiser, George Lindsey, Jamie Campbell, Jim O’Neil and Ken Stoker rounded out the top 10.Heats were won by Brennan Bowen, Glenn Bradley and Rick Swartout. The B Mains went to Bob Flinn and Jim O’Neil.
