DONNIE MORAN SPORTS MILLION DOLLAR SMILE
One hundred laps of non-stop excitement culminated in Donnie Moran earning
one million dollars in the largest purse ever for a dirt track race Saturday

Moran became the newest millionaire by winning the richest event in short

Bloomquist was fastest over a record-breaking 235-car field with a 16.187
second lap. The 120th fastest time, the last to transfer to the heats, was
Delmas Conley at 17.211 seconds, with just 1.124 seconds separating the 120
