The win, Kauffman's 104th career win at Port, also was a birthday present for himself as he celebrated his 51st birthday that same night. "That's a pretty good deal," said Kauffman of winning on his special day. "We're going good, this Middleswarth team gives me a good race car and we are tough right now." Todd Shaffer edged out Hestor for second place at the checkered with last year's inaugural Swarmer Memorial winner Lance Dewease finishing fourth and Mark Smith fifth. Scott Haus snapped Ken Dickson's four race win streak in winning his first race of the year in the 20 lap late model feature. Haus's convincing win came by almost a full straightaway over Dickson and was the 33rd career win for the Hamburg racer. Loysville's Jim Palm made a last turn pass to pick up his first win of the year in the 12 lap pro stock feature. For Palm, the win was the 27th of his career at Port. Both Tim Krape and Gary Beward crossed the line in a dead heat for second place.
