Matthew Simeon Made a Clean Sweep in Street Stock

Novice B main Joe Carboni who flipped his car in the heat led every lap
of the feature till the two to go sign when he pulled in the infield with
problems. Terry Lee took over as leader and went on to score the win followed
by Stephen Polk, Rustin Cain, and Gary Petit.
Novice A main Jason Traux started from the pole and took the lead. A
couple laps later Traux went in the pits handing the lead to Tim Chambers.
Chambers went on to take the win followed by Gordon McDaniels, Rusty
Williams, Robby Smith, and Austin Butler. Novice heat winners were Traux,
Smi6th and Chambers.
Pure Stock feature Ryan Whitehead started from the pole and blasted into
the lead and led every lap and scored the win. Mark Hardwick started in the
rear and was coming through the field when he got sandwiched between two cars
and wound up in the air flipping. Second place Rusty Cooper suffered problems
and went in under yellow. Another yellow flew when a 6 car pile up happened
in two. Behind the winner Whitehead was Jimmy Stephens second, Zane Barcelona
third, Shawn Barber fourth and Chad Coon fifth. Rusty Cooper and Shawn Barber
took the heat wins.
Chad Williams, Jerry Cassano and Billy Collette shared the heat wins for
Modified. Chad Williams took the lead on the start and ran lap after lap with
his hands ful with Davin Bates. Off turn two Bates finally got the lead.
Yellow flew in turn two when Cassino and Collette spun Cassano was sent to
the rear of the 25 car field, Chad Williams running second spun and earned
himself a trip to the rear. Bates scored the win followed by Billy Collate,
McPhail, Mike Roe, and fifth went to Jerry Cassano who came all the way back
up through the field after his trip to the rear.
Billy Gordon and Joey Humphreys took the super stock heat wins. Donald
Collins from the pole pulled right into the lead. Behind hin Saragusa and
Gordon battled wheel to wheel for second. Gordon finally moved to second.
Collins lost a spring and cut down a tire and retired to the infield. Gordon
took over as leader and went on to take the win followed by Mike Saragusa,
Jamie McClendon, Tim Thornton, and Joey Humphreys.
Matthew Simeon and 8c took the street stock heat wins. Simeon has become
a force to wreckin with . After winning the heat he started ion the pole for
the feature and wasted no time blasting into the lead. Scotty Case tried to
chase Simeon but couldn't get close. Simeon won the caution free feature
followed by Case, Tyrone Taylor third. Brad McKey came up from the rear to
get fourth and Don Bolton took fifth.
Sam Patrick and Kennith Crowe took the late model heat wins. Ricky May
spin in turn two first lap caused the first yellow. On the restart Kennith
Crow took the lead and led every lap after that and scored the win. Lonnie
Covington ran second and tried to catch Crowe, but was unable to and had to
settle for second. Donald Watson took third, Raymond Taylor fourth and Ricky
May fifth.
