posted May 13, 2001 04:18 PM BUCKWALTER BREAKS THROUGH AT SELINSGROVE Royersford's Brian Buckwalter, became the third different 358 sprint winner at Selinsgrove Speedway Saturday night after holding back a last-lap challenge by current point leader Chad Layton. Buckwalter's third career win at the Snyder County oval came over two-time winner Chad Layton and Nate Snyder. Four-time winner T.J. Stutts crossed third initially, but was later disqualified when his sprinter was found to be underweight at the scales. Dale Kerstetter scored his second win in a row in the late model feature, but fell eight seconds short of a new 20-lap track record in the non-stop event. Kerstetter, however, set a new six lap record in his qualifying event earlier in the evening. Gerald Kratzer of Selinsgrove posted his first win of the season in the 12-lap pro stock feature to become the sixth different winner in that division to date.
