Patrick takes third win at Pike County

Robert Morel and Ted Pearce took the heat wins for super stock. Charles
Sibley took the lead on the start till he spun in four. Ted Pearce took over
as leader till Robert Morel ran him down and took over the lead and went on
to score the win. Pearce pulled into the infield. Tim Thornton took second,
Adams third and Keith Smith fourth.
Gary Joiner sat on the pole after winning the heat race for ump, but as
the green waved Joiner drop back through a whole army of cars. On the restart
it was James Ward in the lead. Ward was unable to be caught. He took the win
unchallenged. Doyle Bratton and Gary ran wheel to wheel for second till
Bratton ended up with it. Gary was third, Chad Williams took fourth. And
Brent fifth.
On the start on the novice B main they ran three wide for the lead. Then
cars scattered everywhere some into the wall. On the restart it was Jason
treaux all the way. LeeRoy Callender ran second till right a the end when
Rustin Cain took the spot, Cindy Wells took third, Loyde Kitchens fourth and
fifth LeeRoy Callender.
A main Butch Jenkins took the lead on the start and led every lap
getting further and further away from second place Shane Barber, Mark
Hardwick came from the rear and took third, Lefty Cockran took fourth and
Richard Thomas fifth.Stephen Polk and Butch Jenkins took the heat wins.
Jamie Hamilton and Carl Bourgeois took the street stock heat wins.
Hamilton on the pole jumped into the lead on the start. The yellow lfew and
Hamilton was sent to the rear. On the restart Jason Holland took the lead and
led every lap to take the win. Matthew Simeon took second, Paul Allred third,
Brad McKey fourth and Randy Cotten fifth.
Jimmy Stephens and Rusty Cooper took the pure stock heat wins. On the
start the yellow flew and the cars where stopped on the front. Third place
Randy Brownell slammed into the back of second place Cooper both cars were
out of the race. Jimmy Stephens had smooth sailing to take the win in the
Aims Automotive Car care, A best specialty,Grafic signs, Livingston Napa
parts, and Gonzalas x ray Inc. race car. Jamie Blades took second, Brown
third, Justin Bowman fourth and fifrth Mark Wells.
Eric Courville and Larry Riter took the late model heat wins.Riter
jumped off four into the lead on the drop of the green. Then Sam Patrick blew
past Riter like he was standing still and pulled away. Davin Bates with a
worn out tire tried to buy one and the track was out of that size and he
started to sit the feature out, but went ahead and raced. He started dead
last and pick off the competition one by one till he reached second place
when the checkered fell. Larry Riter took third, Raymond Taylor fourth and
Seavy Clemons fifth.
