North Alabama Speedway results from Friday, April 20

Corinth, Mississippi's, Mark Sartain picked up his second feature win
of the 2001 campaign and took over the point lead from Chris Ragan who
experienced problems on the first lap of the feature event.
Fastest qualifier, William Burns set quick time at 14.723 then jumped
out front early and led until lap three when fourth starting Chris Tays
assumed the point and led for three laps before Sartain wrestled the
lead away. Sartain could only manage seventh quickest during time trials
but when the green flag was unfurled the young charger was quickly on
the move. Mark was sixth after one lap, fifth after lap two then climbed
to fourth on lap three. Lap four saw the new point leader take the
runner-up spot then took control on lap six and led the final 19 laps to
the checkered flag. Ricky Steen ran a strong second just in front of
Jamie Flanagan and Jason Steele. Joey McKinney rounded out the Top 5.
