Twins Winners At New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ (Apr. 20) -- Fans and racers will double their fun at New
Egypt Speedway on Saturday, April 28, with a twin card for the big-block
Modifieds and a special Twins Night promotion for the fans, sponsored by
Shammy Shine Car Washes of Milford, NJ.

On the track, Modified drivers will double their chances to win, squaring
off twice during the night in twin 20-lap races. With double markers at
stake and a $10,000 point title on the line, the dual action will unfold at
fever pitch. Already, defending division champ Billy Pauch of Frenchtown,
NJ, and Pennsy driving legend Kenny Brightbill have unreeled a pair of
nailbiters in the early weeks of the season, with New York newcomer Brian
Weaver coming out of left field to completely upset their apple cart. With
double everything up for grabs, the Mod twin 20s will be a pair of
tooth-and-nail tussles, not to be missed.

In the spirit of the evening, fans have their very own Twins Night deal: All
twins -- in sets of two, with proof of birthday -- will be admitted free at
the spectator gate. The night's giveaways will include dinner-for-two
certificates at restaurants like T.G.I.Friday's and Old Country Buffet, and
pairs of tickets to Blackbeard's Cave Entertainment Park. In addition,
Shammy Shine Car Washes, with nine locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania,
will distribute discount car wash coupons, hats and T-shirts, as well as
donating a bicycle to one lucky child.

Shammy Shine's April 28 double-header at New Egypt Speedway will go green at
5:30 pm. Gates open at 2:30 pm. In addition to the Modified twin bill, a
full card of Sportsman, Street Stock and Rookie competition is on the

Adult admission is $15, children 7-12 are $5 and kids 6 and under are free.
The speedway is located on Route 539, minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure
and the NJ Turnpike. For more information, call the track office at (609)
