Not Enough Bait to Catch the Shark at Green Valley Speedway

Glencoe, AL-It was a lucky Friday the 13th for Greg "The Shark" Skinner at
Green Valley Speedway, as Skinner continues his rampage by winning two in a
row at Green Valley Speedway. Skinner from Oxford, AL claimed fast time
honors with a 16.39-second lap on the 3/8's mile semi banked clay oval in
the Kilpatrick Chevrolet Super Late Models. Skinner drew a four for the
inversion in the Quick Six Dash For Cash but finished second behind Rome's
Jody Summerville. Skinner would jump out front in the 25 lap main event and
decimate the field by hunting and finding moisture on the low side of the
raceway, where other cars simply could not go as low. Skinner driving his
Skinner Body Shop sponsored GRT/Custom Race Engines/Monte Carlo was followed
across the stripe by the "Boaz Bullet" Tim Busha in second, with Georgian's
Jody Summerville in third, Joe Armistead Jr. fourth, and Piedmont's TJ
Alford in fifth. Rounding out the top ten were Kelly Hanvey, Brian Hickman,
Zack Nichols, Danny Peoples, and Joe Armistead Jr.

The Vinson Race Engines Sportsman division put on a great race with Joey
Brand claiming a hard fought victory over Greg Noah, who was the riding the
outside wall all night long. The third place finisher was Georgia Sportsman
standout Shane Clanton with Kevin Tallant, and Chad Smith rounding out the
top five in the most competitive divisions at GVS.

The Weese Precision Machine sponsored Gulf Coast IMCA Modified victory was
claimed by local pilot Ryan Tolleson, with Anniston's Eddie Brannon in
second followed by Regional points leader "Mean" Gene Mince, Jamie Gowers,
and Foster Poe.

The Mountain View Ice Super Stock victory was once again won by Greg Chumley
with Tim Bannister second and Robert Armbrust completing the top three. The
new Bomber division had a strong field of eighteen cars but the well
deserved Victory Lane celebration was held by Rome, GA's Jason Hamby for the
second week in a row. Jeff Crane was second with female driver Jodie Free in
third.

The Noah's Performance Pony Stock Main event was won by Odenville's Allen
Glaze with Chip Battles and Brian Dodgen earning podium finishes. The Pure
Pony Main saw Josh Battles take the checkers with Ronnie Fincher and Todd
Bennich rounding out the top three.

Green Valley Speedway will take Friday the 20th off and will be back in
action with a Full Racing Program on Friday night April 27th. For event
