UDTRA IMPROVED AND UPDATED WEB SITE NOW AT www.udtra.com
WOODSTOCK, GA - The United Dirt Track Racing Association has now launched
its improved and updated web site at a new address, www.udtra.com. Using
the old address at www.havatamparacing.com will also automatically send
user to the new UDTRA web site.
The new UDTRA web site will give fans the latest news and information,
results, point standings, statistics, series history, driver bios, track
information, photos that can be downloaded and demographics for the UDTRA
Pro DirtCar Series.
By navigating to the About page from the Home page, Internet users can
a brief outline about the history of UDTRA, and link to the Demographics
page which will provide valuable up-to-date information that is helpful
competitors in search of sponsorships. The About page also links to the
UDTRA Information Directory with series officials contact information, and
the Tracks page.
The Tracks page has been updated with current information to tracks hosting
UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series events in 2001. This information includes the
dates of the UDTRA events, track size, directions to the track, phone
numbers, area hotel information, previous UDTRA winners at the tracks, and
links to the tracks' web sites.
The Drivers page provides users with biographical information about the
dirt late model drivers in the country and their race teams. The user can
download many of the drivers' photos. The Gallery page contains action
celebration photos from some of the top motorsports photographers in the
country, and they can also be downloaded.
The History page archives the date, track and winner of every UDTRA event
held since the series began in 1990 as the Hav-A-Tampa Dirt Late Model
Series. The History page also lists every UDTRA Champion, Rookies of the
Year, career winners, and the leading career money winners.
The Points page gives the current UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series point standings
with links to archived final point standings back to 1997. The News page
archives UDTRA press releases back to the 1999 season. The Sponsors page
lists series sponsors with links to their web sites.
"The goal of the new web site has been to provide UDTRA fans, media and
competitors with useful up-to-date information on the past, present, and
future of the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series," UDTRA Public Relations Director
Roby Helm said. "Thanks to the efforts of our webmaster Chrystal Douglas
A&C Enterprises, along with photographers David Allio, Howard Martin, and
Tony Hammett, we will continue to improve and expand the web site."
Helm said in today's Internet technology driven society, speed is as
important off the track to fans, media, and competitors, as it is on the
