I.M.C.A. special series, events drivers on
track for REAL Racing Wheels awards
INDEPENDENCE, Iowa (Jan. 28) - Drivers competing in I.M.C.A. series and selected special events are on track to receive contingency awards from REAL Racing Wheels.
Fifty dollar product certificates will go to 'mystery position' finishers in each feature event in both the Deery Brothers Summer Series for I.M.C.A. Sunoco Late Models and the Jackpot Junction Tour for I.M.C.A. Sprint Cars.
Certificates to buy one steel wheel and get a sec-ond wheel of equal or lesser value will be given at each Day Motorsports Texas Super Sunday Series event, in both the Modified and Stock Car division, and at selected Modified specials throughout the 2003 season.
Competitors in any of the four divi-sions must have two REAL Racing Wheels de-cals displayed on their race cars to be eligible. Those decals will be part of the packet drivers receive from I.M.C.A. and will also be available at Deery and Jackpot races.
Located in Independence, Iowa, REAL manufactures steel and aluminum wheels, and also makes and distrib-utes a variety of other components for use by dirt and asphalt racers. Information about those products is available at the www.boubin.com website, or by calling (319) 334-6058.
"REAL Racing Wheels will continue to support I.M.C.A. Modified and Stock Car special events from coast to coast in 2003," said I.M.C.A. Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. "Their awards will also be a part of many of our series events, as those are essentially special events at tracks in Minnesota, Iowa and Texas."
A long-time sponsor for I.M.C.A. series and specials in the Midwest, REAL added Super Sunday Series awards to their contingency program last season.
