OCTOBERFEST 350 NEXT ON HAGERSTOWN’S SCHEDULE.
HAGERSTOWN, MD. Race fans and drivers are making plans for the greatest
two day show on dirt, the
Octoberfest 350 on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, October 26th & 27th.
Considered by many as the biggest
bargain in short track racing, Adult General admission for the two-day
show featuring the top four divisions on
Dirt is only $30 for both days.
Race fans will see the top drivers in late models, big block modifieds,
super sprints and small block
modifieds in one program with the winner of each feature pocketing
$10,000. On Saturday, qualifying heats and
B-Mains for all four divisions will set the field for Sunday’s 350 laps
of feature racing. Last year, 219 cars
jammed the infield competition area as Hagerstown reeled off 25
qualifying events to set the field for the next
day of feature racing. Most of the top drivers in dirt track racing are
once again expected to be at Hagerstown for
the season ending race.
The 15th Annual Octoberfest 350 will get underway on Saturday, October
26th with pit gates opening at 9
A.M. Grandstands will open at 11 A.M. with warm-ups at 12 noon. Racing
will begin at 1 P.M. On Sunday
afternoon, October 27th, Gates will open at the same times with warm-ups
at 12 noon. The big-block modifieds,
late models and small block modifieds will go 100-laps with $10,000 for
the winner of each event. The super
sprints main event will be 50-laps with another $10,000 to the winner.
There will be fuel stops at the half-way
